I was thinking about my friend and boss, who works at the cinema I work in. She loves purple. I started reminiscing of Brisbane summers past.

admiring its reflection
summer rain

the lily
grows shorter
summer rain

After cyclone Yasi wiped out a lot of the banana crops, the price sky rocketed.

cyclone season
I miss the taste
of bananas

meeting place
under the goodwill bridge
the tide turns

Muay Thai gym doorway
spiderwebs adorn
the broken spirit house

      Hey! I changed my blog address to lyndonnorton.wordpress.com (was haiku bear), so I haven’t gone, even though it may look like it. Don’t know how to fix/change it. WordPress confounds me.
