overcast sky
the heart takes a long time
to open

overcast sky
to open the heart
takes a long time

one last time
I sink under the bath water
holidays end

an open heart knows
beyond the grey clouds
lies the blue

they don’t like
attention either
garden daffodils

mineral spring pump
creaking by the stream
an unseen frog

bush walk
on my steel bottle
the sound of long grass

on the path
pausing to write a haiku
bush walk

bonsai garden
the old cat

home again
a dead cockroach
in the toilet

I’m with Symanntha on this – great set that reads like a story. I was particularly impressed by the opening haiku about the open heart… wonderful imagery
