tonights moon
is still a crescent
a long wait
(after Chiyo-ni)

cold hands
clinging to the willow bid
a drop of rain

a rainy day
the brass chandelier
reflects the fire

We found a great restaurant in Daylesford. Kazuki’s. We had a table by the open fire, and some of the best food and service I’ve had for a long time. In the explanation of the logo it mentioned Kazuki’s family crest was oak leaves. His wife’s family crest was plum blossoms.

winter rain
entering the warmth
of Kazuki’s

cold rain
the oak and plum trees
provide shelter
