haiku three one one.

Hello all!
A haiku, a senryu, and throwing in some tanka. The Saigyo book I’m reading is beautiful, and as usual when I read I’m inspired by what I read, and I steal!

blue autumn sky
on the river ferry’s wake
a green bottle

foreign movie
people stay to watch the credits
they can’t read

First Saigyo’s tanka, then my version, which is a tanka version of yesterday’s haiku.

Even a person free of passion
would be moved
to pity:
in a hotel loading dock
where a dead mouse lies

Even a person free of passion
would be moved
to sadness:
autumn evening
in a marsh where snipes fly up

Thanks for reading!
Peace!
