haiku two one eight.

Hello all!

First up some revision:

night stillness

by the silent fountain

frangipani blooms

gentle rain

over the empty mall

the mid-day bell tolls

Sometimes the most obvious composition of a poem eludes you till much later, and then you have that epiphanous moment when you think “why didn’t I think of that before?” Those two poems are like that for me.

roadside grass

waves in the breeze

rise from hot asphalt

Thanks for reading!
