haiku one eight eight.

Hello all!

This post is what happened on Tuesday. On that day we went to the McLaren Vale wine region. We got a bit lost on the way there, and the van had to manoeuvre on some winding dirt roads, but we got there and had wine tastings at: Ekhidna, Scarpantoni, and Woodstock. We also stopped for lunch at The Currant shed, which was absolutely amazing! And for the birthday dinner we went to the Hahndorf pizza house, the confit duck pizza was amazing! I had 2 slices, and nearly went for a third! I also should mention we were staying at our friends brothers property. It’s called Bandarrah, so named after his wife’s favourite show horse.

ah McLaren Vale!

McLaren Vale!

Just a note. This is influenced by this haiku by Basho:

Ah! Matsushima!

Thanks for reading!
