Haiku sixty six.

Hello all!

After an exhausting day of moving 20 beds around a hotel, I had the good fortune to attend a Sunday spoken word afternoon. It was at Jam jar in West end. Graham Nunn did a reading, and was excellent! Jo Sri quite blew my puny little mind! And all who spoke were excellent! I’ll have to get along to more of these events! I have to admitt now that I snuck off early to get some more rest, as I’m feeling really rundown. And now on to todays haiku. I’m almost embarrassed by my attempts now, oh well one can only strive to improve!

1.

walking together

we share a path

with a cockroach

2.

rustling sound

beside the path

lizard in dry leaves

3.

city haze

turns pink with

suns descent

4.

winter of contentment

yields to summer

of discomfort

5.

an introduction

we speak of India

he mends his shoes

Well that’s all folks!

Peace.
