Haiku sixty four.

Hello all!

Another concise one today. Have to go to work soon, and will finish close to midnight, then have to start work at 6:30am at my other job. Plus it’s my partners birthday tomorrow! Busy times.

1.

alone lost

in a forest

twilight descends

 

2.

undulating

green hills skewered by

satellite towers

 

3.

dust in the corner

one day will be

me

 

4.

in the apartment

where I live everything

and nothing

 

5.

elder native

breathing machine attached to her

and a moped

 

6.

warm spring wind

plays with

my beard

 

7.

zindagi*

spills forth from

indian eatery

 

8.

palm tree softly

coos

young ibis perched

 

9.

children’s playground

sounds of young

honey eater feeding

*Zindagi means life in hindi.
