Haiku sixty one.

Hello all yet again! Not a bad day for me, work wasn’t so bad, and took in a free opera! Well it was two opera’s really. Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and Gianni Schicchi! I would hazard a guess that they are more operettas than opera’s. Which brings me to todays haiku, not the best segue ever in the world, but I want to go to bed.

crows croak

awakens the tired

spring dawn

upon waking

my spirit rises

after eight hours

new day tinged red with

yesterdays thoughts

elevator grime

in the corner

of my eye

in love with

the arcane and

the profane

ceiling opens

revealing vast canopy of

air con ducts

at night

the fan propels us

to sleep

Well that’s all for today.
