Haiku fifty five.

My brain has gone mental and wont stop haiku-ing.

1.

Tropical road trip

cane toads invading

burst beneath tyres

2.

weary legs

can still press two hundred

kilograms

3.

brushing teeth

concurrently releasing

yellow stream

4.

internet

where live can be lived

in margins

5.

thoughts

ceaselessly spilling onto

page

6.

strange city

gathering flowers

of friendship

7.

palm tree

fronds speckled white

ibis perched

8.

summer rains

wash off hills to flood plains

and streets

9.

public bar sign

scrolling backwards

arabesque newsflash

10.

sun glow

behind art gallery

spring dusk

11.

crossing bridge

sunset

waters reflection

12.

grey pink blur

galahs take flight

lawnmower

13.

in bus

sun dappled hair whorl

strangers head

Thirteen in a 24 hour period. Is that unlucky? Perhaps I should do another one? Just joking. Till tomorrow!

Peace.

  1. I particularly like #4. Indeed a marginal existence it can be.

I love the internet for the fact that people can band together over the most esoteric subject! Where as before the internet it was much harder to find like minded folk.
